I was born in Moscow in the days of the former USSR (Russia). My father who deeply contributed to my artistic inclinations in the early years, was an artist himself but not
only, he had many other more technical fields of interests and he encouraged me to practice art. I have been constantly painting, sculpting, and was interested in other activities
related to artistry and crafts since childhood.
In 1979 when I was 8 years old, my mother took my brother and I to Israel and we made Aliyah while my father remained in Russia. Later on he moved to Israel, in the 90s after the collapse of the Soviet-Union.
Eventhough my family was atheist, I was enrolled in a religious schools and completed my high school education as well as degree at the 'Pelech' high school in Jerusalem.
Later on, I studied graphic design and illustration at the ‘Vital Institute' art and sculpture at ‘Beit Berel’ in addition to Classical Painting at the 'Kibutzim Seminar'.
While a student at 'Vital' I started a part time job at a high-tech company. This was the beginning of a path that led me to remain in the high-tech arena as a project manager for many years after my studies at the design academy ended.
On the one hand, my high-tech position gave me a wider view of the world, different people and cultures. I gained various perspectives through work with global customers and partners.
On the other hand, I had no time to develop my art and I deeply missed it.
Eventually, in 2014, I decided to leave the high-tech industry to make room for my unique artistic language which is based on introspection, constant search for universal truth and study of the human soul; all of the above are reflected in the visual work of my art.
Nowadays, I reside in small town named Kadimah in Israel with my husband and 2 children and I work my introspection into the human soul at my studio.
